JEE Main Paper 2 Answer Key 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Provisional Answer Keys and Recorded Response Sheets for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2026 Session 2. This specific release is for candidates who appeared in Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) during the April 2026 session.

Candidates can now log into the official JEE Main portal to verify their answers, calculate their estimated scores, and submit online challenges if they find any discrepancies in the provisional key.

JEE Main Answer Key Challenge Window

The NTA provides a brief window for candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key.

• Challenge Period: April 25, 2026, to April 27, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
• Processing Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹200/- per question challenged must be paid online (Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking).
• Note: Challenges made without the receipt of the processing fee or submitted through any other medium will not be considered.

How to Download & Challenge the JEE Main Answer Key

1. Visit the official website at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
2. Scroll down to the 'Candidate Activity' section on the homepage and click on the "Answer Key Challenge for JEE(Main) Paper – 2 (B.Arch/ B.Planning)" link.
3. You will be redirected to the login portal. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
4. Enter the Security PIN (CAPTCHA) exactly as displayed on the screen and click 'Submit'.
5. Your recorded responses and the provisional answer key will be displayed.
6. To challenge a question, select the check box next to your desired Option ID under the "Correct Option" column.
7. Upload any supporting documents (all combined into a single PDF) using the ‘Choose File’ option.
8. Click on ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee finally’ to complete the process.

Subject experts will verify all submitted challenges. If a challenge is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and the final results will be prepared based on the finalised key.
